ABOUT US
Background of TAPHATA
The Tanzania Pharmaceutical Technicians Association (TAPHATA) is a non-governmental, non-political, and non-denominational professional body founded in 1999 in Dar es Salaam and registered under S.A. 9700.
TAPHATA provides professional leadership for Pharmaceutical Technicians and Assistant Pharmaceutical Technicians across Tanzania, promoting their welfare, competence, and professionalism. The Association works closely with the Pharmacy Council of Tanzania and the Ministry of Health to strengthen standards, support professional development, and ensure regulatory compliance.
